Japan launches new OLED high-fluorescent material

Japan launches new OLED high-fluorescent material At the Seirui Organic Optoelectronics Research Center of Kyushu University in Japan, a new type of high-intensity organic light-emitting diode (OLED) fluorescent material that uses only a fluorescent material as a raw material and has a luminous efficiency of 90% or more has been successfully developed. The effect is comparable to that of using phosphorous as a raw material, but the cost is greatly reduced.

According to reports, according to different lighting principles, the raw materials of the existing OLED light emitting materials mainly include fluorescent materials and phosphorescent materials. The luminous efficiency of the fluorescent material is up to 25%, and the phosphorescent material is 100%. The newly developed strong fluorescent material can generate a heat-active type of delayed fluorescence phenomenon, and its luminous efficiency can be as high as that of a phosphorescent material. Another highlight of this material is the OLED panel with a wide range of luminescent colors that can be used to produce luminescent colors such as blue, green, yellow-green, yellow, and orange.
