Osram introduces new infrared LEDs that can be combined with detectors to form ultra-thin touch screens
[High-tech LED News] Osram Opto Semiconductors has introduced a new infrared LED that can be combined with a detector to form an ultra-thin touch screen. Currently, Osram is promoting the product.

In the past, infrared technology was applied to touch screens, but Osram's solution is more complicated, and it can work on multi-touch tablets and save space. With a diode and sensor height of only 0.45nm, the diode and sensor will be integrated into the trench at the edge of the screen, which is only 35mw in normal use.
