Theme: Industry Germany's Siemens Group's lighting company, also the LED manufacturer's OSRAM, OSRAM Opto Semiconductors and OSRG Opto Semiconductors and energy-efficient and environmentally friendly solid-state lighting solutions The supplier Lighting Science Group Corporation (LSG) announced that Golden DRAGON lighting products from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors will be used in LSG's low bay fixtures for a special lighting project in Lolita, North Carolina, USA.

LSG's Optimized Digital Light Source (ODL) product, combined with OSRAM's Golden DRAGON LED light source, will replace the 12-inch metal halide lamp in the pedestrian tunnel that extends from the Avery C. Upchurch Government Complex to the municipal car park. These energy-saving and environmentally friendly solid-state lights can be switched directly to metal halide lamps or high-intensity gas discharge (HID) lamps.

Tom Shottes, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of OSRAM Opto Semiconductors, said, "Osram is honored to participate in the lighting project in Lolita City and is pleased to work with LSG. With LSG, we can bring Osram Golden DRAGON products. Advanced LED technology is promoted to industrial and commercial lighting

LSG Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Ron Lusk pointed out that "Osram and LSG's joint cooperation is in the case of increasing energy costs and environmental conditions are not optimistic, and 合 桓龌 桓龌 。 。 。 合 合 合 合 合 合 合 合 合 合 合 合 合 合 合 合Engineering, we can bring energy-saving and environmentally friendly lighting into Lolita City, and we hope to promote LED lighting to other cities in the world."

The product's cool white light and high color rendering index have superior visibility. In addition, the cost is much lower compared to metal halide lamps: long service life reduces maintenance costs, high efficiency reduces power loss, and solid state technology greatly reduces heat radiation.

Lolita City is the application of LEDs to cities with earlier lighting, including garage parking lot lighting, tunnel lighting, street lighting, architectural lighting, accent lighting, portable lighting and pedestrian lighting. Lolita City plans to complete the LED lighting project in the fall of 2007.
