The ultra-thin, soft features of
OLED panels have been seen in Sony's 4.1-inch ultra-flexible OLED screen. Recently, foreign websites have tested the toughness of OLED panels and used them to “smash up eight piecesâ€. The results show that OLED panels are still used as usual.
The Samsung video flexible AMOLED panel is used in the video below. In order to compare its toughness, a liquid crystal panel is placed next to it. After hammering tests on two different types of panels, it was found that the LCD panel was broken and the AMOLED panel worked as usual.
The ultra-thin, flexible nature of the OLED panel makes it less prone to breakage like a liquid crystal panel. In the video, the staff divided the OLED panel (non-display panel) used for illumination, and the result showed that the segmented OLED panel was still bright.
High TG PCB
The glass transition temperature (Tg) is an important normative dimension for the base material that determines the temperature at which the resin matrix converts from a glassy, brittle condition into a soft, elastic one.
Normal Tg is 130-140°C. Middle Tg is 150-160°C. High Tg is over 170°C
High TG PCB is made with high Tg material which glass transition temperature (Tg) is over 170°C. Standard PCB are manufactured with TG 140°C laminates, which can withstand an operating temperate of 110°C.
