In addition to thermal issues, the phosphors that must be used in device packaging are also critical. Liang Chao, deputy general manager of Jiangsu Borui Photoelectric Co., Ltd. introduced high-performance white LED phosphor and its application program.
Liang Chao pointed out that the key performance parameters affecting phosphors are crystallinity compatibility, thermal quenching, quantum efficiency, particle size and distribution of phosphors. These properties are the key to the light-emitting efficiency, light-attenuation characteristics, and light-color concentration of white LEDs. In order to develop high-quality phosphors, Borui Optoelectronics proposes three key technologies: composition design and composition precision control technology, dry and wet combined phosphor synthesis technology, and surface composite modification.
