After entering the 5th floor office of the Jinjiang District Youth Pioneer Park in Chengdu, Huang Sijia and his entrepreneurial partners did not hesitate to take all the 24 fluorescent lamps in the office and replace them with 40 LED energy-saving lamps produced by themselves.


On January 14th, at the office of Huang Sijia, he explained to reporters the intention of changing lights: Although the price is still an obstacle to the promotion of LED energy-saving lamps, his entrepreneurial team hopes to use practical actions to prove that these energy-saving lamps are economically selected. Huang Sijia is the deputy general manager of Dengfeng Energy-saving and Environmental Protection Lamp Factory in Jinjiang District of Chengdu. He is one of the core members of this entrepreneurial team. His other identity is the junior middle school student of logistics management in Sichuan Business Vocational College. Under his leadership, the sales team has achieved good results. At present, they have customers all over the country and even in Europe and Japan. In November 2009, the entrepreneurial team participated in the Sichuan University Graduates Entrepreneurship Competition and won the first prize in one fell swoop and won a prize of 100,000 yuan.


Entrepreneurial ideas start by buying a car to buy a house


The idea of ​​Huang Sika’s entrepreneurship began in the freshman year. At that time, he thought: "If you work for others, when can you afford to buy a house and buy a car? The shortcut is to be your own boss." He looks at other people's entrepreneurial stories while looking for entrepreneurial projects.


In May 2008, Huang Sijia discovered that although there are many vendors selling watermelons near the college, no one can sell iced watermelons. It was this discovery that gave him the inspiration to start a business: selling iced watermelons at the college to fill the gaps in the market. On May 10, Huang Sijia spent more than 800 yuan and rented a large freezer from the market to move back to school. On May 11, he purchased 100 yuan of mineral water and cola. On May 12, just as he was preparing to buy watermelon, the Wenchuan earthquake occurred.


The disaster smashed his iced watermelon sales plan and made him lose money. The first venture attempt failed like this. However, Huang Sika believes that this is the test of God.


A few days later, Huang Sijia got in touch with Wang Bohao, an iron buddy in junior high school. Wang Bohao is a student at the Foreign Affairs College of Sichuan Normal University. After chatting with each other, they found that they were still interested in each other. In fact, in September 2007, Wang Bohao obtained a patent called LED energy-saving lamps. Because he was still in school, he did not put all his energy into product development and sales. After graduation, both of them had the idea of ​​starting a business. After exchanging opinions, they decided to work together on this project.


LED is the abbreviation of the English word Light Emitting Diode. The Chinese name is a light-emitting diode, which is a semiconductor device capable of converting electrical energy into visible light. LED energy-saving lamps are lamps made of LEDs arranged together, which have higher energy-saving and environmental protection effects than ordinary energy-saving lamps and incandescent lamps.


In Wang Bohao's patented products, an energy-saving lamp consists of different numbers of LEDs, which can produce different brightness. More uniquely, as long as the number of LEDs in a single lamp is less than 100, its power consumption is 1.7 watts.


Taking the office of his company as an example, Huang Sijia calculated an account with the reporter: the power of the fluorescent tube is 40 watts, and the total power of the 24 tubes is 960 watts; after replacing the LED energy-saving lamp with a power of only 1.7 watts, The office has 40 LED energy-saving lamps with a total power of only 68 watts and a power saving rate of 93%.


With confidence in the market prospects, in August 2009, the two officially cooperated and started business, and Huang Sijia was mainly responsible for sales.

One of the big difficulties for sales people is the indifference from customers. At the end of 2009, Huang Sika came to a hotel near the company to promote LED energy-saving lamps. The hotel staff said impatiently: "We don't need this product, go quickly, go!"


Huang Sijia’s heart is not a taste. In order to win more customers, he continued to sneak into the hotel, hoping to see the person in charge. Finally, his sincerity and persistence touched each other. The person in charge of the hotel asked him to introduce the product in one minute and then received the promotional materials.


One month later, the person in charge of the hotel called Huang Sijia and ordered a batch of LED energy-saving lamps.


To promote LED energy-saving lamps, the biggest obstacle is the price. The price of LED energy-saving lamps ranges from 19 yuan to 89 yuan. Compared with a few ordinary yuan bulbs, this price has made many people discouraged.


In Huang Sijia's abacus, although the LED energy-saving lamps are expensive, it is still very cost-effective in the long run. In order to calculate this account, he specially produced a leaflet to compare LED energy-saving lamps with ordinary incandescent lamps, and chose to use LED energy-saving lamps. One year, the light bulb money can be saved from the electricity bill, and the LED energy-saving lamps The life expectancy can reach 4~5 years; comparing LED energy-saving lamps with traditional energy-saving lamps can save 88% of electricity bills in one year.


In the promotion to residential areas, Huang Sijia also summarized some doorways. For example, he would choose to work with a property company rather than a developer. Because developers want to save on the cost of pre-installation, they will choose cheap incandescent lamps. In order to reduce the operating cost of the community in the later period, the property company is willing to spend more money to buy products that consume less electricity. So far, it has been piloted in some residential communities in Chengdu, and they have sold tens of thousands of LED energy-saving lamps.


Good news came from June 2009, when Chengdu began to vigorously set up a youth entrepreneurship park to provide entrepreneurs with preferential policies such as cheap rents. Huang Sijia and Wang Bohao seized the opportunity to place production and sales links in the entrepreneurial parks in Wenjiang District and Jinjiang District of Chengdu. Huang Sijia was pleasantly surprised to find that entering the Pioneer Park is not only an opportunity to enjoy preferential policies, but also an excellent opportunity to promote products. Since people often visit the Pioneer Park, their products have attracted a lot of attention.


Li Chuncheng, the secretary of the Chengdu Municipal Committee who came to inspect the work of the Pioneer Park, was very interested after seeing the LED energy-saving lamps. He instructed the relevant departments to purchase a batch of traditional lighting fixtures for replacing the party and government office buildings.


At present, the office buildings of many units such as the Chengdu Municipal Committee, Sichuan Normal University, and Jinjiang District Government have adopted LED energy-saving lamps, and the government procurement volume has been rising. Huang Sijia’s entrepreneurial confidence has also increased. “Now the national sales outlets are just the fire of the stars.
