The reporter learned from the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine that the quality and safety risk warnings issued by the Bureau of Light Strings show that when the light string is used, it is usually wrapped around flammable materials such as branches, Christmas decorations, cables, etc., and children and other groups are easily accessible. In the event of an accident such as electric leakage or fire, it will directly damage personal and property safety. The light string is a decorative lighting device that includes a wide range of products for indoor and outdoor use. In view of the possible quality and safety risks of the light string products, the Quality Supervision Department of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine recently organized the quality and safety risk monitoring of the light string products.
The reporter learned that the relevant staff of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine collected a total of 40 samples from the market, mainly based on GB 7000.1-2007 "Lamps Part 1: General Requirements and Tests", GB 7000.9-2008 "Lamps Part 2-20: "Special requirements for light strings" and GB 19510.14-2009 "Control devices for lamps - Part 14: Particular requirements for DC or AC electronic control devices for LED modules", etc., for protection against electric shock, heat, fire and Items such as safety-isolated controls (where applicable) are tested.
The results show that 33 batches of anti-shock protection projects do not meet the requirements, the non-conformity rate is 82.5%; 14 batches of heat and fire resistance tests do not meet the requirements, the non-conformity rate is 35%; 20 batches of LED safety isolation control devices ( A total of 21 batches in all samples required to have the device) did not meet the requirements, and the non-conformity rate was 95.2%. In addition, during the monitoring, it was found that 15 batches of samples were not marked with the implementation standard, manufacturer's name and address, and none of the strings belonging to such "three no" products met the requirements.
The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine advises consumers in three aspects:
First, it is recommended that the public not buy "three no" products when purchasing string products, and choose products of regular brands.
Second, it is recommended to select the sealed string of the port when the manufacturer assembles the product or seals the lamp string product, and does not miss the safety component.
Third, if there is a control device, choose a product with an isolation mark () or a safety extra low voltage mark (SELV).
